Adult & Paediatric Administrator/Crisis Worker - Bransford
The role of Administrator/Crisis Worker is vital in providing victims of sexual assault with dedicated support and care.
As an advocate for patients attending the Centre, you will empower them to feel in control and support them during the forensic examination process where applicable.
Main duties of the job
* Providing telephone information and support.
* Assisting in the administration and management of adult or child patients and their families visiting the centre, including preparing the patient and collecting forensic evidence.
* Supporting the use of the colposcope and medical care, advocating for the patient and/or family, and ensuring a patient-centered service.
* Maintaining high standards of DNA decontamination between forensic cases (cleaning).
* Assisting patients and liaising with other agencies regarding historic cases.

Each county has a dedicated SARC, commissioned to improve immediate medical response and aftercare for victims of sexual assault and rape. Mountain Healthcare provides similar services to 20 other SARCs across the UK.
This is a dual role with responsibilities as both Administrator and Crisis Worker.
You will be based at the Glade SARC, Bransford, with additional location in the West Midlands region.
This is a part-time position of 8 hours per week, Tuesdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
Salary: £26,883.38 pro-rata based on 40 hours FTE
Hourly Rate: £12.75 per hour

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Full UK driving license and access to a car 24/7

Experience
* Experience working with vulnerable adults and children
* Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality
* Experience in administration, data collection, reporting, and Excel
* IT literacy

* Training and presentation skills
