Castlefield Recruitment are working on behalf of an industry known public sector organisation in West Yorkshire, who are going through a period of organisational change. Due to this ongoing period, they are seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to the team on a fixed term basis (6 months). This would be a perfect role for a seasoned business partner who wants an environment where their expertise will be utilised to add value to the community.
This client is offering a starting salary of c£58,000 - £62,000, along with a fantastic range of benefits including: generous annual leave allowance, flexible and hybrid working patterns and range of other benefits
The role:
1. To lead and develop the business partnering function for the directorate, supporting senior stakeholders and driving financial strategy
2. Take responsibility for the delivery of the quarterly forecasting cycle
3. Lead on budget setting, monthly forecasting and reviews of management accounts
4. Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders
5. Provide expertise to senior stakeholders on the current and future financial and economic environment and assist them in assessing options for achieving aims and objectives
The person:
6. You will be a CCAB qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and have significant experience within a business partnering role
7. Demonstrable experience of operating within a public sector setting and a range of stakeholder management
8. Be able to demonstrate effective written and presentation skills, with an ability to produce concise and meaningful reports.
