BANK NURSERY ASSISTANT

Pay rate: Up to £12.22 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Nursery Assistant’s help to create a safe, educational and fun environment for the children in our care. Helping to supervise children and ensuring their safety, organizing and taking part in activities, such as games, crafts, and educational tasks. The list is endless, but you’ll understand that some days might be challenging, but you’ll also laugh, have fun and make lasting memories with our children at one of the most important development stages of their life!
In joining us, you’ll also become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness to all those who work in our Nurseries.
Tops Havant Nursery is a 54 place Day Nursery& Pre-School situated in Stockheath Lane, Portsmouth. The nursery run several extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and much more!

If you’ve worked in a Nursery before, then that’s great as you’ll have a good idea of what to expect. But if Childcare as a profession is new to you, then don’t worry – we’ll provide all the training you need to start your Early Years Care journey with us, all delivered in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment.
Some of the primary skills we are looking for will include:
* Excellent communication skills, to engage with the children and converse with other staff members and parents
* Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities to children that can ensure the child is happy and learning in a rewarding environment
