We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP/YOI Stoke Heath, working as a Vocational Curriculum Manager. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. Catering experience and qualifications are desirable, but not essential.

Site Information
HMP/YOI Stoke Heath, located near Market Drayton in Shropshire. It is a Category C prison that houses adult male offenders and young adults. The team’s aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe, and where causes of prison stress are minimised. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
* Hold a teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
* Degree or equivalent (inclusive of equivalent life / career experience)
* Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
* Have experience of, or an understanding of the nuances involved in, implementing continuous quality assurance procedures
* Have a good track record of successful partnership working
* Continuously demonstrate your ability to motivate and enthuse teams
* Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet sometimes challenging deadlines and targets
* Have an ability to analyse trends and identify impacts on curriculum
* Have good IT Skills
* Catering experience and qualifications are desirable, but not essential
