Position Assistant Design Manager – Main Contractor

Pay Rate £300 /day to £350 /day
Contract 12-24 months (extendable)

The Role
After a series of project wins an exciting opportunity has arisen at one of UK’s largest tier 1 main contractors. They are looking to recruit an Assistant Design Manager to play a key role in their fit out and refurbishment division.
The initial projects you would be working on are magistrate court, prison and detention centre refurbishments.

The Candidate
The successful individual will have worked as a Design Manager who has taken the lead on fit-out or refurbishment projects previously at RIBA stage 3+.
Previous work on Courts / Prisons / Detention Centres / MoJ projects or similar experience would be preferred but not essential.
Key Experience
* Worked as an Assistant Design Manager or Coordinator for a large contractor.
* Worked on projects RIBA 3+
* Excellent IT Skills, Numeracy and Communications skills are required.
Key Accountabilities:
* Assist the Design Manager with the production of the project specific designer agreements.
* Help Produce a realistic design programme.
* Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement and innovation.
