About the role - Conversion / Slitting Operator: You will assume responsibility for setting up and operating a conversion machine to slit, punch, centre fold and trim a wide variety of film according to product type and job specification. You will be accountable for the quality of the finished product, running m/c in line with operational KPI's within a safe environment. As our Conversion / Slitting Operator, you will be specifically responsible for: Operating the slitting machines Ensuring Health, safety & environment policies and procedures are adhered to Following company specifications and S.O.P.'s Ensuring that the process manager/team leader is kept informed of any production issues that may affect Quality, safety or performance. Monitoring machine performance and report any maintenance concerns or repairs by verbal, and or TCard communication Engaging with following shift ensuring smooth transition from 1 shift to the next Completing production paperwork accurately and on time and ensure data is logged correctly on EFI system Providing overtime cover for colleagues as is necessary and reasonable Undertaking any reasonable requests as directed by the team leader or management.
