Are you a dedicated Food Tech Teacher, keen to make a difference working with KS3-5 SEN students?
A well-established, independent specialist provision in South Birmingham are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to join their small independent school in helping SEN students learn about Food Tech.
Job specification:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons to 11-19 year old students with complex SEND, primarily ASC
* Promoting independent learning and personalised learning
* Monitor student progress through engagement, assessments and reports
* Full-time, permanent position
* Salary: £27,456-£43,014 (DOE)
Person specification:
* At least 2 years experience working with SEND students, preferably in a specialist provision, or equivalent
* A committed and passionate approach to working with SEN students
* QTS or QTLS is highly desirable
This school focuses on providing learning through specialised interventions to prepare students from their transition into further education, employment and adulthood. A tailored and broad curriculum is offered, encouraging each student to meet their full potential. They are set across 2 sites in South Birmingham.
This role would suit an individual that is enthusiastic about providing patient and therapeutic teaching to KS3, KS4 and KS5.
