What youll be doing
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, youll be providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils with additional needs. Youll adapt learning activities, help manage behaviour, and provide calm, structured support during the school day including lessons, breaktimes, and transitions.
You'll help with:
* Supporting learning objectives tailored to EHCPs or individual targets
* Preparing resources like visual timetables, communication tools, or sensory materials
* Spotting early signs of anxiety or dysregulation and responding calmly
* Recording progress and behaviour, and feeding back to the teacher or SENDCo
* Promoting independence, confidence and participation both in and out of the classroom
