Protocol Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist SEND resource base attached to a mainstream primary school.
The provision supports pupils with Autism, speech and language difficulties, and additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils to access learning activities
* Delivering speech and language interventions
* Supporting communication development
* Promoting positive social interactions
* Assisting with EHCP targets
* Liaising effectively with teachers and parents
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Essential Criteria:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
* Previous SEND experience preferred
* Full-time applicants only
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply and pay for one
* Two professional references required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
