We are seeking a passionate individual to improve our operations and deliver more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and strategy. You will bridge current and future business models and contribute to the business architecture. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels will be key, working alongside project teams, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Senior BAs will lead in identifying opportunities and implementing improvements in the Business Analysis Service, supporting colleagues, and shaping work scope.
The team: The Business Analysis Service supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading various change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to make informed decisions, creating better places for people and wildlife, and supporting sustainable development. Experience/skills Required:
* Leadership skills guiding colleagues and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven stakeholder engagement with senior stakeholders.
* Analytical thinking to identify issues and opportunities for informed decisions.
* Experience managing analytical support products like requirements catalogues and impact assessments.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch between tasks/projects supporting business needs.
* Experience working in an Agile environment or with Government Digital Service.
* Experience leading refinement sessions.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.
