We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Nuclear & Infrastructure Division, based on site at Sellafield.
Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the bar high in their highly regulated market
Vacancy Details
In the Project Manager position you will be to manage the resources necessary to successfully complete projects to the entire satisfaction of our customers. Deliver business objectives, efficiently, within budget and to schedule, consistent with Company Procedures, good practice and Statutory Legislation within our contractual obligations.
Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:
* Liaising with senior management team to ensure the required and correct resources are provided to deliver projects.
* Use all the tools and resources necessary to ensure the agreed project programmes are maintained, milestones met and reported.
* Review and forecast project budgets within the business.
* Approve any changes to the scope of work or programme on each project.
* Ensure that the companies project process is followed and any possible improvements are detailed.
Key Skills & experience
You will be a strong and effective communicator as regular liaison with main contractors, clients, and other professionals, as well as in house departments is a key part of this role.
At Severfield, safety is paramount and is embedded in all aspects of our work, therefore an essential part of this role is to ensure safety compliance of all the construction elements under your control.
To be successful in this role you'll need to have a construction related degree or equivalent with construction experience with hands on experience in a Project Manager position within the steelwork industry.
