My client is a well-established business within the construction industry, recognised for their friendly, close-knit office team and supportive working culture.
Due to continued growth and several recent contract wins, they are now seeking a proactive
Accounts Assistant with some payroll experience to join their expanding finance team.

The Role
Reporting to the Team Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of the accounts function. As a key member of a small and collaborative team, you'll handle a range of accounting and administrative duties, providing hands-on support wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily accounting tasks using Sage software
* Support payroll processing and related administration
* Manage purchase and sales ledgers
* Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts
* Process invoices and manage general finance correspondence
* Provide ad-hoc support to the wider team as required
About You
* Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant (ideally 3-5 years)
* Confident using Sage software
* Working knowledge of payroll processes
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Able to work independently within a small team environment
* Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking a hands-on approach
