Unqualified Teaching Assistant

£440 - £550 per week

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in Ashford. If you have a passion for helping children learn and grow, we would love to hear from you. No formal teaching qualification is required for this role, but a genuine interest in education and working with young people is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers in delivering lessons and providing one-on-one support for students
2. Help to manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
3. Support students with additional learning needs (where applicable)
4. Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources
5. Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior
6. Help supervise students during break times and school activities
7. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
8. A genuine passion for working with children and young people
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
11. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
12. Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of students
13. Previous experience in working with children (desirable but not essential)
Desirable Skills:
14. Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
15. A qualification in child development, education, or a related field would be advantageous but not essential
16. Knowledge of the UK curriculum
