Role:
Our client is looking for immediate, temporary, Management Accountant to assist them for 6 months. You be will be responsible for following duties
1. Deliver insightful analysis to help support decision-making by senior leadership.
2. Manage and execute the end-to-end month-end process, including finalising all journals, reconciliations, and closing books.
3. Ensure compliance with all internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
4. Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency in financial and operational work flows.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline existing processes.
6. Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models for cash flow and financial performance.
7. Build detailed cash flow statements and provide proactive recommendations to support liquidity needs and financial strategies.
8. Prepare and post general ledger journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
9. Ensure journals are consistent with GAAP or IFRS standards, as applicable.
10. Support the treasury function by managing cash balances, funding requirements, and banking relationships.
11. Oversee payment runs and ensure optimal cash allocation across the group.
12. Assist with FP&A tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
