We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Management Accountant.
You'll support the Finance Manager and Support the Assistant Management Accountant in the preparation of the Accounting processes and cycle for our End of Life Services business.

What to expect...
12. Prepare and circulate monthly and weekly sales reports.
13. Own management accounts process for Crematoria and Natural Burial businesses.
14. Produce and present monthly P&L variance reports.
15. Reconcile funeral volumes and financial data across systems (Firehawk, Agresso).
16. Perform monthly balance sheet and debtor reconciliations.
17. Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
18. Liaise with operational teams to resolve finance queries and ensure timely reporting.
19. Contribute to board pack preparation and finance commentary.
20. Margin ownership for all ELS business areas for Management Accounts Preparation.
21. Support process improvements and deputise for the Finance Manager when required.
What we're looking for...
22. Near completion of CIMA or ACCA qualification
23. Experience in preparing management accounts
24. Supports and mentors junior team members
25. Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented with a process-driven approach
26. Proficient in Excel and generally strong IT skills
27. Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence operational teams
