Working as part of our People Service Centre, you’ll support the full vacancy and offer process, ensuring candidates, hiring managers and colleagues receive a smooth, professional and inclusive experience.
If you’re someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service, this could be the role for you.
This is a 3 month fixed term contract to support us in delivering seasonal peak recruitment. Due to the short term nature of this role, ideally you'll be available to start in the role on Tuesday 24th March.
Internally you'll be known as a Vacancy Support Officer.
What it's like to work here
As the first point of contact for recruitment queries, you’ll help manage our shared inbox, providing timely, accurate and friendly support to candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. You’ll develop a strong working knowledge of our recruitment processes, employment legislation and contract options, enabling you to give clear, confident and consistent advice.
You’ll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of vacancies, ensuring adverts, vacancy details and recruitment activity are accurate, compliant, and delivered to agreed standards. You’ll support hiring managers with advertisement routes and best practice recruitment guidance, escalating to the Resourcing Specialist where appropriate.
You’ll also administer the offer process from start to finish, ensuring 100% accuracy and a seamless handover to colleagues in People Services. Alongside this, you’ll champion inclusive recruitment by advising on reasonable adjustments and ensuring hiring teams receive consistent, inclusive and policy aligned advice.
You’ll play an active role in wider team initiatives too and helping to refine and improve our processes. This is a fast paced role where attention to detail, excellent communication and strong organisational skills make all the difference.
