Overview
IT Support Desk Engineer – Derby – Permanent – to £28,000 (DOE). Start ASAP during Autumn 2025.
Responsibilities
* Providing remote IT support for a range of customers to 1st/2nd line level.
* Ensuring all actions are logged and managed via the IT helpdesk and visiting customer sites to complete IT service requests.
* System monitoring, error logging, fault-tracking and IT incident management to ensure maximum service availability.
* IT asset tracking, service provisioning and managing IT accounts for new starters/leavers.
Technical Environment
* Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, Office 365, RRAS and a basic understanding of networks.
Skills & Attributes
* Soft skills: problem solving, attention to detail, logical, proactive, prioritisation and strong customer service skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle preferred.
