About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, adaptable, and highly organised Administrator to join our team at Grimsby Fish Dock Enterprises. This is a varied role that requires excellent IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting the leadership team, and bringing new ideas to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
* General office administration, including answering phones, greeting visitors, ordering office supplies, and managing refreshments for meetings
* Minute taking at Board meetings (early start required one Friday every 6–8 weeks)
* Maintaining and updating HR systems, including note-taking in meetings
* Supporting with social media management and content updates
* Producing accurate documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Managing diaries, filing systems, and ad hoc administrative support
* Acting as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Overseeing door entry access and managing site access
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in administration, with strong IT and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook essential)
* Organised, self-sufficient, and able to manage workload independently
* Proactive, motivated, and willing to bring fresh ideas to the role
* Flexible and adaptable to meet the varied needs of the business
* Confident in dealing with people at all levels, in person and over the phone
* Able to handle HR administration with confidentiality and professionalism
* Willing to support occasional early-morning meetings (every 6–8 weeks)
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (due to location and early starts)
