The Recruitment Crowd are on the lookout for a talented, driven and passionate individual to support the service as a Residential Support Worker for a Children's Residential Home based in Todmorden.
Job Description:
* Using your experience and skills – further developed with our support and training, you will assist with the care of our children and young people.
* All of our homes adopt therapeutic practices, allowing you to develop into a specialist care provider. Training also includes reflective practice to consistently improve the way we care for children.
* You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
* You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people. Consistency and organisation skills are key.
* You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
Requirements for the opportunity:
* You must hold your Level 2 or equivalent Health and Social care Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
* Ideally we require candidates with prior experience within Children's residential care however we would be happy to consider candidates who have a decent amount of experience in similar settings working with Children and hold transferrable skills.
Please note that you must be 22 years old or above to apply as per children’s home regulations.
You must also have a valid driving licence.
