Senior Business Analyst - Sponsored Repo / T1 - 6‑Month Contract Location: London (Hybrid) A leading global financial institution is undergoing a major transformation programme to prepare for mandatory U.S. Treasury clearing and the move to FICC‑sponsored repo. They're looking for a high‑calibre Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in securities operations, repo, and regulatory change to drive delivery across a critical, high‑visibility programme. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role perfect for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, can work autonomously, and loves solving complex operational and systems challenges. What You'll Do As the Senior BA, you'll be a key driver in migrating bilateral repo flows into centrally cleared structures. Your role will include: ✅ Leading requirements gathering across trade capture, lifecycle events, reconciliations & exception management ✅ Redesigning workflows for centrally cleared repo, including allocations, margining, settlement, and affirmation ✅ Creating clear, structured requirements & user stories (Jira), ensuring full traceability ✅ Mapping current vs. target state and defining the full Target Operating Model (TOM) ✅ Building detailed test packs, executing testing, and supporting UAT ✅ Analysing data flows, system interactions, dependencies & operational bottlenecks ✅ Supporting readiness for clearing cycles, netting, depot transfers, and CCP obligations ✅ Acting as a bridge between Ops, Front Office, Technology, Network Management & external clearing participants ✅ Contributing to project governance, RAID management & milestone tracking What We're Looking For To excel in this role, you'll bring: Strong experience in securities operations, repo, or derivatives lifecycle A track record of delivering regulatory change, migrations, or large‑scale transformations A BA first mindset with the ability to operate in hybrid BA/PM mode Excellent technical literacy knowledge of data models, APIs & system behaviours Experience working closely with Front Office, Technology & external clearing brokers Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and influence decisions McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
