DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role ensuring smooth running of all transport scheduled activities.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* Escalation in colleague and driver issues
* Accountable for ensuring system compliance i.e. Logics, DPM and transport systems
* Fostering an environment that promotes sharing of ideas and best practice to the benefit of the network
* Manage and review Transport KPI's,to identify KPL's, Fleet Utilisation, PvA Hours and POA and support any improvements
* Manage operational costs and identification of cost performance trends - i.e. fuel performance/accidents etc
* Promote a positive transport/network culture, supporting EOS initiatives
* Manage disciplinary and grievance in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures
* Process paperwork as required - invoices
* Operate IT systems as required
* Accountable for delivering a high quality, customer focused service
* General admin tasks

* Experience working in a fast moving transport operation
* Transport legal compliance
* H&S compliance and leadership
* Able to work well under pressure
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office)
* Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
