Fram is working with a growing SME in the financial services sector who are continuing to build out its protection advice function. The business provides advice across both personal and business protection and has a well-established flow of client enquiries generated internally through existing clients and introducers. The role is focused solely on protection advice, covering income protection, life insurance, critical illness cover, and wider family and business protection needs. Client work is driven by warm leads and internal referrals, including regular introductions from mortgage advisers, meaning there is no requirement for cold prospecting or self-generation. This allows advisers to spend the majority of their time on client conversations, needs analysis, and advice delivery. The position involves managing protection cases from initial discussion through to placement, working closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and consistent client experience. There is regular interaction with insurers and underwriters, requiring a good understanding of underwriting outcomes, product suitability, and how to navigate more complex cases. Protection advice is embedded as a core part of the firm’s proposition rather than treated as an add-on. This may appeal to an experienced Protection Adviser who prefers an advice-led role with a steady flow of client work. Several years of protection advice experience, strong organisation, and the ability to explain recommendations clearly and confidently will be important. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
