Overview
Be among the first 25 applicants. This is a 30 hour part-time substantive post with the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. The post sits within the Integrated Safeguarding Team and focuses on safeguarding children and vulnerable families, primarily relating to paediatric and children’s services. The team collaborates with other health service providers and agencies to promote children’s rights and keep them safe from harm.
The successful candidate will have experience and confidence in multi-disciplinary / agency working within the safeguarding children arena and will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic nurse with a passion for safeguarding. Disclosure and barring service enhanced level check will apply.
Responsibilities
* Provide advice and support across the Trusts on safeguarding for paediatric and children’s services.
* Participate in safeguarding supervision and education.
* Work in partnership with other health service providers and agencies (statutory and voluntary) to promote children’s rights and keep them safe from harm.
* Engage in safeguarding activities that improve services and outcomes for children and young people.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience and confidence in multi-disciplinary / agency working within the safeguarding children arena.
* Motivated, enthusiastic, and ambitious nurse with a passion for safeguarding.
