Working days, Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week, with patient safety as the main priority. The Clinical Research Nurse conducts multiple ongoing clinical trials involving patients or healthy volunteers. Responsibilities include completing all necessary paperwork to capture data as per study protocols, ensuring subject safety, understanding, and cooperation. The nurse interacts with the research site team and other departments, engaging in recruitment, enrollment, and retention of study participants.
Key duties include:
1. Conducting clinical studies according to FDA/GCP and ICH regulations.
2. Providing medical care with patient safety as a priority.
3. Scheduling subject visits within protocol windows.
4. Performing study activities such as informed consent, screening, and protocol procedures.
5. Recording patient information and test results accurately.
6. Completing IP accountability logs when required.
7. Reporting suspected non-compliance.
8. Ensuring IRB approvals and requirements are met.
9. Promoting the company and maintaining positive patient relationships.
10. Attending site initiation and other relevant meetings.
11. Calling patients, managing bookings, and follow-up calls.
12. Logging and ensuring accuracy of data in sponsor systems.
13. Maintaining source documents and updating patient files.
14. Adhering to company SOPs and policies.
15. Disposing of waste per standards and maintaining facility cleanliness.
Qualifications include a solid understanding of clinical research processes, ability to work independently with attention to detail, sound judgment, good decision-making, negotiation, communication skills, organizational skills, proficiency in basic computer applications, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is advantageous.
