Responsibilities

* Be part of a collaborative and welcoming team solving complex challenges in nuclear power generation and decommissioning.
* Apply core chemical engineering principles to real-world projects that support low-carbon energy, defence, and environmental clean-up.
* Based at one of our hubs in Warrington, Bristol, or Humberside, work on a diverse portfolio of projects (e.g., adapting reactor technologies for UK deployment, supporting the UK’s nuclear-powered submarine fleet, or decommissioning legacy nuclear sites safely and sustainably).
* Define process requirements, specify and test equipment, and assess how our systems perform under different conditions.
* Develop problem‑solving techniques, communication skills, and familiarity with tools and software used across the sector.
