Pretty Lavish continues to emerge within the fashion industry, bridging the gap between high street and designer brands. Recognised for our sophisticated occasionwear, luxury knitwear and more recently our sleek and modern bridesmaids collection. We strive to make luxury affordable by designing quality, timeless and versatile designs that can be worn day to night, season to season and loved for years to come. As Pretty Lavish grows, we are looking for a passionate, hardworking and humble individual to join us on this exciting journey in this newly created role.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Daily admin support to ensure the smooth running of the design team, particularly in the knitwear category across Pretty Lavish & NOBL
* Chasing knit downs, trims & samples with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met in line with the critical path
* Working directly with suppliers
* Assist with the approval of knitdowns & trims for finalised products
* Support the design team in creating trend overviews, presentations & sampling research
* Completing sourcing packs for knitwear & trims
* Uploading tech packs, colours & setting up BOMs on PLM
* Managing the knit library & yarn card to keep design & creative areas organized and presentable
* Research into competitors and inspirational brands
* Meeting preparation
* Managing the design tracker
* Supporting the design team with CAD work including recolours
* Developing seasonal knitwear research through catwalk analysis, market research, and competitor shops to ensure innovation and brand consistency
* Managing sample processes from initial to development samples
Requirements:
* Have an authentic creative passion and eye, with an excellent understanding of the Pretty Lavish & NOBL aesthetic
* Be organized, a self-starter, and able to prioritize workload effectively
* Communicate ideas clearly and confidently, responding gracefully to challenges
* Be a team player with a positive attitude
