We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Services Officer (2nd Line Support) to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,834 - £30,012 per annum DOE. We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.
About the role :
As the IT Services Officer (2nd Line Support), you will provide hardware and software support for users of the College's information technology systems; to ensure that staff and students receive the best possible support in accordance with College policies and procedures.
Responsibilities as our IT Services Officer (2nd Line Support) will include :
* Supporting 1st line support in the operating of the IT Services Helpdesk and logging of all requests in the helpdesk system.
* Providing 2nd line support for staff and students experiencing problems with any operating systems or applications installed on their workstations including AV equipment, if unable to resolve, escalate to 3rd line support.
Ensuring that the hardware database holds accurate and up to date details of each workstation's hardware configuration.
