Our enhanced level of specialist clinical support enables people to remain at home even when the level of healthcare required is highly complex. We deliver care 24-hour a day, 365 days a year.
Job Description:
We are recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable team of carers for day or night shifts, including weekends, within the Oxford area. Waking night shifts available; we are looking for a team of new carers.
Client overview:
Male client with spinal, tracheostomy and ventilation.
Six months of previous care experience is preferable; however, full training, supervision and support are provided to all successful candidates.
Our carer development centre comprises interview and training rooms, and specialist and fully equipped skills labs for bespoke training to cover a wide range of client-specific needs, including:
* Tracheostomy care
* Invasive and non-invasive ventilation
* Airway suctioning
* Cough assist
* Autonomic Dysreflexia
* Oxygen therapy and monitoring
* Bowel management
* Enteral feeding
* Epilepsy and seizure management
* Catheter care
* Complex medication administration
* Behaviours which challenge
* Complex moving and positioning

Pay, benefits and conditions:
* Daily pay rates up to £134.48, weekly pay up to £941.36.
* Typically, live-in clients have clinical needs that require approx. 11hrs support throughout the day.
* Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability; for a live-in carer wishing to work a 2-weeks on, 2-weeks off pattern (26 weeks a year), earnings can be up to £24,475.36 per annum.
* We employ all staff directly and manage pay via PAYE, not through Limited Company or self-employed status. PAYE protects against IR35 issues.
* Please note: The rate is dependent on shift pattern (days/nights/weekends) and is inclusive of holiday pay accumulated per hour worked.
Requirements
* You must be over 18 to apply
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Flexibility on travel - some shifts may require driving or access to public transport
* A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
* An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration
