Job Title: Quality Lead – Assurance
Location: Barrow-in-Furness- onsite
Salary: £47,271+, dependant on experience
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and sustain robust systems of work within and out with the immediate team
Lead a team of SMEs in the delivery of a scope of work aligned to functional and business goals embodied in major projects
Act as a Direct Line manager to provide performance management, workload prioritisation and people development
Support the Quality Executive community with brief outs on key and critical work streams
Ensure alignment and fulfilment of goals are embodied in key projects via a robust governance mechanism
Your Skills And Experiences
Previous continuous improvement background in Manufacturing
Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) and other improvement toolsets.
Previous experience delivering projects; demonstrable ability to plan, coordinate, and execute project objectives and drive postivie outcomes

The Supplier Quality Assurance Enablement Team
You will join a team of 12 employees who are tasked with delivering excellence in supplier performance and product quality. We lead proactive quality control and assurance activities, implement robust systems of work, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement. As people-focused leaders, we support, guide, and develop our team while ensuring that all workstreams align with business goals and deliver tangible results. We offer relocation support across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
