Job Advert Role Description
We are currently looking to grow our dedicated team of support workers/care assistants at our site, Apple Mews, in Armagh. Apple Mews is a modern, purpose-built site, split into several bungalows with 5-6 residents each. The site is home to 30 service users living with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. Each support worker is assigned to one bungalow to foster relationship building between staff and residents.

We are passionate about providing excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome, or mental health conditions. As a support worker, you will be part of inspiring stories of care for our residents and service users.
You will support residents with daily activities, encouraging independence. You may also participate in activities outside the home, such as day trips and charity events.
Our ideal support worker will:
* Be reliable, friendly, and caring, helping service users achieve their goals (including personal care)
* Support in-house activities and hobbies
* Be attentive and inspiring to help service users achieve more
* Be resilient and capable of managing some challenging behaviors
Drivers can take service users out and about, but non-drivers are also welcome!
