Role
The role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Regular interaction with students, colleagues, and parents is expected. The ability to adapt to changing educational requirements and a commitment to continuous professional development is essential.
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons to Year 2 students
* Assessing student progress and providing feedback
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development
* Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with Key Stage 1 students
* Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
* Effective classroom management techniques
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Understanding of assessment and feedback practises
* ICT skills for enhancing teaching and learning
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or specialist training in literacy or numeracy
* Experience with SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
