The post holder will provide strategic, operational and professional leadership in relation to medicines optimisation to ensure the delivery of effective pharmacy support across all Planned and Critical Care.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic, operational and professional leadership in Planned and Critical Care.
* Promote evidence-based, cost-effective use of medicines in the Trust.
* Lead and manage pharmacy staff in the Planned and Critical Care Division to ensure service delivery to agreed standards.
* Deliver advanced clinical service to patients, including patient-facing work in Surgery, Critical Care, Trauma, MSK and parenteral nutrition.
* Participate in seven‑day working, late duty rotas and the Pharmacy Senior On Call team.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
* Desire to develop or extend clinical leadership, managerial and strategic skills.

Location: Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, which serves a diverse population across southwest London and northeast Surrey.
