Were seeking an experienced Gate Automation Technician to join our expanding Automation team, supporting the installation, servicing and maintenance of automated gate systems across the Birmingham region.

What youll be doing Installing, servicing and maintaining automated gate systems in line with relevant standards
Mechanical, electrical and electronic fault-finding across a range of automation systems
Completing engineering reports, asset tagging, and accurate documentation
Demonstrating completed systems to clients and end-users
Managing day-to-day site activities and ordering components when required
Ensuring compliance with BS EN 12453:2017 and DHF TS-013
Carrying out force testing (full training provided)
Reporting snags, defects and safety concerns
Upholding company quality, safety, and professional standards at all times
Liaising with client representatives as needed
Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota
Experience & qualifications were looking for Proven experience xxuwjjq in gate automation installation, servicing, or maintenance
Strong mechanical and electrical/electronic fault-finding skills
Ability to produce detailed reports and recommendations
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel and work away when required
IT literate and comfortable using software for testing and reporting
Full UK driving licence
