You will drive the evolution of our Telecoms offering by leading industry change projects and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within our systems and processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading industry change projects, such as the decommissioning of legacy services, customer migrations and Exchange Exit/Evolution.
2. Acting as a Telco SME, providing market insights to the Product and Operational teams.
3. Managing third-party relationships, including ongoing account management and due diligence for new suppliers.
4. Performing small-scale trials with Telco suppliers to determine the viability of new products.
5. Translating technical design documents into clear business requirements.
6. Maintaining regulatory knowledge by attending industry calls and cascading insights to relevant stakeholders. You'll work with the Regulatory teams to implement industry wide regulatory change into Operational processes

As part of the Commercial Telecoms team, you will act as the primary interface between the Commercial, Product, and Technology departments. You will collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Legal/Privacy, Operations, and Learning & Development. Externally, you will manage relationships with third-party broadband suppliers and represent UW on industry calls to maintain our regulatory and market standing.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
7. Experience in implementing and running industry-related commercial programmes within Telco or other heavily regulated domains.
8. Business Analysis expertise, with the ability to gather requirements, map processes, and translate technical designs into clear business needs.
9. Project Management skills to manage complex industry projects from start to finish.
10. Commercial Acumen to balance financial impact with customer experience.
11. Data Literacy with the ability to navigate datasets to pull actionable insights.
12. Relentless Standards and a high level of attention to detail.
13. Communication Skills across verbal, written, and presentational formats.
