**Key Responsibilities**
As the **CQC Registered Manager**, you will be responsible for:
* Holding full registration and accountability as the home's **CQC Registered Manager**, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory standards and leading all inspections.
* Providing inspirational leadership and day-to-day management of the nursing home, overseeing all clinical and care services.
* Managing and mentoring a team of nurses and care staff, including **RGNs** and **Deputy Managers**, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Utilizing and managing **electronic care plans** to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
* Overseeing clinical governance, including medication rounds, care planning, and **safeguarding** protocols.
* Effectively managing budgets, resources, and the business performance of the home.
* Acting as the clinical lead, supporting staff development and implementing training to enhance team performance.
**Qualifications & Experience**
The ideal **Care Home Manager** will have:
* **Essential:** A valid **NMC Pin** (RGN or RMN).
* **Essential:** A minimum of **3 years' proven experience** as a **CQC Registered Manager** in a UK **nursing home**.
* Confident, up-to-date knowledge of **CQC regulations** and Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs), with a history of positive inspection outcomes.
* Extensive experience in **elderly care** and a strong clinical skillset.
* Proven experience with **electronic care plans** and clinical systems.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor staff, including **Registered Nurses**, to improve performance.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience in budget management.
