We are currently recruiting for a new Apprentice Early Years Practitioner to join our outstanding nursery setting in Bramhall, Stockport. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, trustworthy, hardworking, and passionate about working with children. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of the Fledglings family, a dedicated and caring team.
Your role will include:
1. Providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment indoors and outdoors.
2. Delivering an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to support children's individual progress.
3. Ensuring the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
4. Adhering to nursery policies and procedures, including child protection, incident response, and emergency procedures.
5. Planning activities aligned with early learning outcomes.
6. Serving as a key person for children.
7. Maintaining accurate records such as attendance, accidents, incidents, and risk assessments.
8. Communicating effectively with parents and carers about children's progress and encouraging their involvement.
9. Collaborating with senior management on self-evaluation and improvement plans.
10. Performing any other reasonable duties to support nursery aims and objectives.

Training
Paragon Skills is a leading apprenticeship training provider supporting over 4,000 learners. We have a Grade 2 Ofsted rating and a high achievement rate of 71.4%. Learners are supported through regular check-ins with a dedicated Personal Tutor, with 20% of working hours allocated to study. Upon completing this 12-month apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification.
