Complex Needs Teacher – Part Time (2 Days) – Solihull
A welcoming special school in Solihull is seeking a Complex Needs Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with complex learning needs and providing a nurturing environment where they can thrive.
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons to meet individual pupil needs
* Creating a positive and safe learning environment that promotes independence and confidence
* Working closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff to support pupils effectively
* Supporting communication, social, and emotional development of pupils
* Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals
The ideal candidate will have
* QTS and experience teaching pupils with complex needs or special educational needs
* The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs
* Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
* A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching
* Previous experience in a SEND school or specialist setting (desirable)
