Our client, Bury Councilis looking for a Children's Team Manager to join their Looked After Childrens Team
To manage the day-to-day provision of social work services to looked after children by a team of social workers, ensuring that statutory requirements and departmental policies are complied with. To provide line management, professional supervision and quality assurance, maintaining oversight of caseloads, care planning and safeguarding to achieve positive outcomes for children in care.
Requirements:
* CQSW, DipSW, BA (Hons) Social Work or equivalent
* Social Work England registration
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience in a statutory children's social work setting, with substantial experience of looked after children and safeguarding
* Proven experience of supervising and managing social workers, including oversight of performance and practice quality
