Senior Care Assistant role focused on delivering person-centred care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care settings. The role requires compassionate, kind and professional care to residents and their families.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement care that provides security, dignity and independence for residents;
* Develop and deliver truly personalised care plans by getting to know residents and their families;
* Lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care and act as a positive influence on the team;
* Support residents with daily activities, including end-of-life care and feeding when required, with kindness as the guiding principle;
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; administer medications; support physical and mental stimulation through activities;
* Maintain accurate records of care delivered and build strong team relationships.
Qualifications
* Ideally holds a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (S/NVQ) and is prepared to work towards Level 3 or equivalent;
* Experience or background in person-centred care planning and dementia care;
* Brilliant positive energy, strong time-management, and the ability to communicate with residents and colleagues with kindness and respect.
