Role: Senior Structural Engineer Location: Glasgow City - Hybrid

Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (SER Registered) with façade design and structural design experience, particularly on residential high-rise towers. Façade Retrofitting Leadership: Design and deliver structural solutions for upgrading existing residential tower façades to current standards (fire, wind, thermal, water).
Structural Analysis: Perform rigorous analysis (finite element modelling, load/resistance calculations) of connections, anchors and envelope systems.
Project Coordination: SER Compliance: Act as the Responsible Engineer, ensuring statutory compliance and all relevant design documentation are SER-signed, per regulatory requirements.
Guide junior engineers and technicians through design tasks, participate in quality assurance and peer review processes.
Chartered with SER (Structural Engineering Register), strong understanding of compliance implications.
Proficient with engineering tools (FEM software, AutoCAD/Revit, structural analysis tools)
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of relevant building regulations (fire safety, thermal performance, wind action) and façade-specific compliance (e.g., Project Delivery Mindset: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, commercial awareness, and effective time/project management.
