Operational Support Administrator – Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire - £33k
Our client a leading a leading Industrial Supplies company are looking to recruit an Operational Support Administrator to join their team at their site in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire. The Operational Support Administrator will play an integral role in providing day to day administration and operation support to ensure the smooth running of a busy and growing business.
Location: Cross Hands (with support in the Cardiff Office)
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time | Permanent
Operational Support Administrator Responsibilities:
* Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
* Checking stock availability and supporting stock control
* Obtaining product quotes from suppliers
* Preparing and sending customer quotes using Pegasus Opera 3
* Processing sales orders using Pegasus Opera 3
* Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Printing delivery notes via Pegasus Opera 3
* Arranging deliveries to customers
* Occasional local delivery driving when required
The successful candidate:
Essential:
* IT literate, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Experience maintaining filing and documentation systems
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience using Pegasus Opera 3
* Knowledge of engineering consumable products
This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who has worked in an Operational Support Administration role enjoys working across customer service, administration and operational support in a fast-paced environment
