Overview A cutting-edge organisation operating at the forefront of autonomous vehicle development-across both air and ground platforms-is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer. The company specialises in delivering next-generation, mission-critical technologies to clients within the defence and security sectors. This role is central to developing high-performance electronics systems, with a strong emphasis on PCB design, layout, and schematic capture using Altium Designer. Occasional travel to site is required that will be expensed and free accomadation is available. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and layout of complex PCBs, including multilayer and high-speed digital boards. Develop and maintain schematic diagrams and component libraries using Altium Designer. Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering teams to ensure robust hardware integration in autonomous platforms. Support prototyping, assembly, and testing of electronic assemblies in both R&D and production environments. Perform design-for-manufacture (DFM) and design-for-test (DFT) evaluations to ensure product reliability and ease of production.
