Why This Role Matters
The freelance copywriter will provide support our SEO, CRM and Web Production teams within the Digital Department. This role involves creating high-quality, engaging content that drives results across our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Write, edit and proofread copy for web pages, email campaigns and SEO-driven content, ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistent alignment with Christie's brand voice.
* Collaborate with SEO, CRM and Web Production teams to deliver content that meets business goals and enhances the user experience.
* Optimise content for search engines, applying SEO best practices while maintaining natural, compelling copy in Christie's tone.
* Use AI tools to support content creation where appropriate, with thorough checks for accuracy, tone and brand consistency.
* Adapt messaging for different formats and audiences, ensuring engagement and readability.
* Maintain awareness of trends in the art world to ensure content is relevant and contextually informed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in digital copywriting, with strong knowledge of SEO best practices.
* Excellent command of English, with attention to tone, style and accuracy.
* Comfortable using AI content tools while applying careful editorial review.
* Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
* Experience within the luxury sector or art market preferred.
