We’re supporting a leading UK specialist in residential property services with the appointment of an Support Developer. This role offers the opportunity to work hands‑on across internal applications, providing 1st and 2nd Line support, application maintenance, and light scripting and automation work within a growing technology team.
As an Application Support Analyst, you will handle day‑to‑day support tickets, work with internal users, and take ownership of technical issues with a practical, hands‑on approach. Responsibilities include supporting and maintaining internal applications, moving and manipulating data between systems, and contributing to light development or automation tasks.
You will also have exposure to scripting languages such as PowerShell, C#, or Python, and may support process automation using Power Automate. The role is primarily onsite in Basildon, working closely with the wider IT team, with opportunities to engage in M&A‑related IT projects and system improvements.
📍 Location: Basildon, Essex – 4-5 days onsite
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong enthusiasm for IT and problem‑solving
* Experience in 1st Line, 2nd Line, or Application Support roles
* Ability to work with and move data between systems
* Exposure to scripting (PowerShell, C#, Python, or similar)
* Good communication skills, able to engage with all types of users
* Experience with reporting, automation, or Business Central is a bonus
