We are planning for future flood scenarios including a 4ºC rise in global temperature and are working with government, local councils, businesses, civil society groups and communities to make our environment a better place for people and wildlife. Field MEICA protect people and the environment by maintaining and repairing our flood and coastal risk management assets, responding to incidents 24/7, repairing waterways structures and water transfer schemes. This hands-on role involves:- Working in the Field on Mechanical and Electrical structures both as routine maintenance and breakdown repair. You will form part of an standby response roster. This could entail working across the country if other Areas have a skill requirement during an incident You will also be required to work with and supervise our frame work contractors Co-ordinate a programme of planned preventative maintenance on our assets. The post is both field and office based, working outdoors in all weathers. You will also have MEICA technical support from our Supra Area MEICA team.
