The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Project Manager to join a well-established and growing security systems business delivering projects across commercial sites in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of commercial projects, our client is looking for a driven and organised Project Manager with experience overseeing the delivery of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm installations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional seeking a long-term contract role with a reputable company and consistent project work.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Security Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the delivery of electronic security projects across commercial sites
* Overseeing CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm installations from initiation through to completion
* Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Managing site progress, health & safety, and quality standards
* Attending client meetings and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle
* Producing and managing project documentation, reports, and schedules
* Ensuring compliance with industry and site regulations
* Supporting commissioning and handover processes where required
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Security Project Manager within the electronic security industry
* Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
* Experience managing commercial security installation projects
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations on commercial sites
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)
* CSCS / ECS Card
* SMSTS or SSSTS
* FIA qualifications
* Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
* Experience working with leading security system manufacturers
