Offerings Lead Architect
Location: Basingstoke, flexible but expected to have significant presence at FJ customer sites
The Offerings Lead Architect is a Product Management role responsible for defining the offerings, vision, strategy, and roadmap for each offering area. This supports Fujitsu’s Go‑to‑Market strategy, ensuring each offering aligns with business objectives and provides insight into the skills, experience, and portfolio development required to meet these goals. Acting as a bridge between Growth, Operations, Delivery, Marketing, and CDO teams, the Lead Architect ensures that offerings deliver value to Fujitsu and its customers.
Your Role Will Involve
Business and technical expertise with the ability to influence and advise Growth, Delivery, Operations, and senior customers and industry stakeholders. This internal and external facing role works cross‑functionally across Fujitsu and with customers and vendors, identifying trends and needs to define a roadmap that delivers market‑leading services.
Responsibilities and Experience
* Define and support the execution of the Offerings strategy and roadmap, including market and competitive analysis and alignment to customer needs.
* Prioritise development of offerings to deliver business value.
* Measure and report on Fujitsu’s capability to deliver in alignment with the Offerings strategy.
* Determine product selection and direction for each offering, supporting the delivery of the technical roadmap.
* Ensure product strategies align with evolving industry best practice for cost‑effective and reliable delivery.
* Support Growth in producing technical proposals that align solutions with product strategies and customer needs.
* Drive innovation through the roadmap, demonstrating Fujitsu’s ability to deliver innovative products.
* Enable cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and growth to meet customer needs and business objectives.
* Review tooling to enable delivery efficiencies.
* Support the delivery of the Mid Term Plan by identifying skills requirements that feed into the SWP.
* Work with customers to understand needs and map to the product roadmap.
* Work with vendor ecosystem to highlight Fujitsu capability and drive vendor‑led opportunities.
* Own the relationship with Growth, translating demand into deliverable products.
* Collaborate with CDO and Delivery Technical Leads to ensure alignment and execution of product strategy.
* Work with Marketing on production of marketing plans, supporting the Go‑to‑Market strategy.
* Provide guidance to Operations and inform the Strategic Workforce Plan on appropriate training.
* Craft Fujitsu’s identity through offering areas, inspiring teams and customers.
* Ensure Operations and Delivery are aware of the product roadmap for strategic alignment.
* Communicate impacts of emerging technologies, innovation, and trends to all stakeholders.
* Drive demonstrable continuous improvement across the product portfolio.
* Act as an agent of change and challenge, identifying areas for improvement and achieving measurable quality or cost gains.
* Challenge the status quo, enabling new ways of working and innovative problem‑solving approaches.
* Report in a data‑driven way on improvements across the offering area.
* Act as a role model, providing thought leadership and cutting‑edge technical and business vision.
* Coach, lead, and provide performance feedback to grow product knowledge.
* Serve as the go‑to person for all matters related to the offering area and customers.
* Operate as a key interface with other stakeholder groups across functions.
* Read situations and people accurately, building relationships and deploying effective strategies.
* Mobilise support for change across the organization.
* Communicate key messages to focus and motivate others.
Think strategically and translate that thinking into operational reality.
