The Opportunity An established and growing insurance brokerage is seeking a Personal Lines Advisor to join its team. Key Responsibilities Manage new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments across a range of personal insurance products. Provide professional advice and recommend suitable insurance solutions based on customer needs. Obtain quotations and negotiate terms with insurers. Deliver a high standard of customer service through telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions. Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and insurer partners. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional insurance products where appropriate. Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation. Assist clients with policy queries and claims-related matters. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal company procedures. Work towards retention, sales, and service targets. Candidate Profile Essential Previous experience within a Personal Lines Insurance role. Strong understanding of personal insurance products, including motor and household insurance. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Competent IT and administrative skills. Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements. Desirable Experience working within an insurance brokerage environment. Experience handling a wide range of personal lines products. Cert CII qualification or a willingness to work towards professional qualifications. Experience working in a target-driven environment.
