Responsibilities
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients as directed by chefs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed.
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality standards.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
* A basic understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
