Vacancy Description
* Assist in the maintenance, repair, and modification of press tools, ensuring optimal performance and longevity
* Support tooling engineers in setting up and troubleshooting tooling within the press shop
* Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Operate manual and CNC machining equipment to manufacture and modify tooling components
* Carry out routine inspections to identify tool wear or defects and assist in corrective actions
* Work with press shop operators to ensure tooling issues are identified and resolved quickly
* Participate in problem-solving activities to improve tooling reliability and efficiency
* Comply with health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Complete all apprenticeship training modules and assessments in line with the programme requirements
